Modder fixes major netcode lag issue in Street Fighter 5 in just two days

Since its release, Street Fighter 5 had some major netcode issues (that were also present in Street Fighter 4). This issue could cause one player’s game to lag behind the other’s online, thus introducing artificial lag. EVO 2018 begins later today and almost all of its roster will be free to play on Steam this weekend. This basically means that Dragon Ball FighterZ, Street Fighter 5, Tekken 7 and BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle will be free to play. Alongside them, Absolver will also be free to play this weekend. Street Figher V will be free to play on the PC for an entire week, beginning on March 28th

Capcom announced that it will be offering PC players a free glimpse into several new features and enhancements coming to Street Fighter V’s Capcom Fighters Network (CFN) online experience. Beginning on March 28th at 1pm PST /9pm GMT and running to April 3rd at 12pm PST / 8pm GMT, current and new Street Fighter V players will be able to experience the improved CFN system and test out the new Season 2 balance adjustments for free.
