Nightdive Studios hints at a Forsaken re-release or remaster

Nightdive Studios has just released some screenshots for Forsaken, hinting at a possible re-release or a remaster. Forsaken is a 3D first-person shooter similar to Descent. The game came out in 1998 and was one of the few games that showcased what 3D graphics accelerators were capable on the PC. Now here is a pleasant surprise. Night Dive Studios has released a new patch for System Shock 2 that comes with various improvements and modernisations, as well as some fixes. This patch is only available for the Windows version of the game, however Mac and Linux will receive it really soon. Night Dive Studios has released a new update for the re-released Steam version of Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. System Shock will feature ‘modern level design principles for pacing and exploration’

In a new Kickstarter Q&A, Nightdive Studios’ community manager Karlee Meow revealed some new information about the upcoming remake of System Shock. According to Karlee, the switch from Unity to Unreal Engine 4 was made because Unreal is a more efficient engine. System Shock is now powered by Unreal Engine 4, gets new pre-alpha trailer

Nightdive Studios has released a new pre-alpha trailer, revealing that its upcoming remake of System Shock will be powered by Unreal Engine 4. This new trailer shows crisp visuals, so it’s unknown whether there will be an option to disable texture filtering and give the textures a retro look (as they were in its early demo). Turok 2: Seeds of Evil Remastered is coming to the PC on March 16th

Nightdive Studios, a company specializing in the restoration of classic PC game titles and the publisher behind the successful release of Turok in 2015, announced today that it will be releasing the sequel, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil on March 16th.
