It appears that WB Games has finally secured a patent for the “nemesis system” featured in Shadow of Mordor and its sequel, Shadow of War, as reported by IGN. WB Games has been trying multiple times since 2015 to get an approval, and finally they have been successful in securing a patent for the franchise’s signature Nemesis System. Middle Earth: Shadow of War will allow players to port old nemeses from Shadow of Mordor

Warner Bros today announced the Nemesis Forge, a new update for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor that will allow a player to bring their top Nemesis and Follower from Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor to Middle-earth: Shadow of War when it releases on October 10th. Warner Bros released The Bright Lord DLC, a new Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor story mission expansion pack, along with a new trailer. In The Bright Lord, players become Celebrimbor and face the Dark Lord himself. Celebrimbor will use his new abilities to dominate Sauron and retrieve the One Ring in order to take control of Middle-earth. As we’ve already said, 2014 was a pretty interesting year. Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor – Latest Update Brings SLI Support, Adds New Skins & Trials of War

Warner Bros and Monolith have released a new update for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. This new update finally brings SLI support to this open-world game, adds the Lithariel Skin, as well as Lithariel’s Trials of War “Test of Defiance”.
