Warren Spector was going to create a Command & Conquer RPG game; would love to see a Deus Ex HD Remake

Deus Ex is one of the classic PC games. A game that most PC gamers love and would like to see returning. And even though Human Revolution was a worthy successor, it did not have the same impact as the original had a couple of years ago. Truth be told, a HD remake of Deus Ex would be awesome and it seems that we are not the only ones wishing for something like that. Warren Spector, the man behind this PC gem, would also love to see a HD remake of Deus Ex. Fast forward a couple of years and it’s now considered a truly great game. How times have changed, right? Continue reading Thief: Deadly Shadows is now available on GoG

2027 is a Mod and Prequel to Deus Ex with amazing DX9 visuals

I’m shocked that this mod went under everyone’s radar . And that’s because 2027 features amazing graphics – well, for an Unreal 1 Engine game – and is the effort of a small Russian team to actually offer a true prequel to one of the best PC games ever. Oh, and contrary to pretty much all promising mods, this actually got released some days ago, so go get it while you still can. Hilarious Deus Ex video showcases what would happen if Deus Ex was built and based on Human Revolution

Okay, there are some videos that you simply can’t miss and this is one of them. JC Denton is called to locate Tong and release him but in today’s world of DLC mayhem, nothing is as easy as you might have thought. This video also showcases some of today’s idiotic features, like health regeneration (although that system is not overused in Human Revolution). Just watch it, you’ll love it! A tribute to Deus Ex: The Best Of JC Denton

Since Human Revolution is out now, we felt the need to give you something from the original game. So, here are JC Denton’s best lines and yeah, we now know the character that inspired CSI Miami’s Horatio Caine. Simply brilliant lines and by far the best we’ve ever heard in a video game. This is a great video that will make you laugh hard and is a worth tribute to the first – and legendary – Deus Ex. Enjoy everyone! Continue reading A tribute to Deus Ex: The Best Of JC Denton

Deus Ex: New Vision Released

Four years ago, I was quite excited about a new mod that would replace Deus Ex’s blurry textures with some remastered, new high-resolution ones. It looked great and had a lot of potential and I was really looking forward to. But as with most ambitious mods, it got delayed and there has never been an official release date. It really reminded of what happened with DaniJ’s 3D models for jDoom that were never released as a full, complete pack. Continue reading Deus Ex: New Vision Released
