Doom Remake 4 shuts down due to cease and desist from Zenimax

Back in January 2019, we informed you about a new mod for the first Doom game that aimed to overhaul its visuals. Created by modder ‘vasyan777’, Doom Remake 4 brought with it High Resolution textures with PBR materials, 3D models of every object and enemy, New HUD, Brutal mods with plenty of blood and gibsmore lights, support for the Vulkan API and more. DOOM Eternal releases on November 22nd, gets new action-packed E3 2019 gameplay trailers

Bethesda and id Software have announced that DOOM Eternal will be officially released on November 22nd. In order to celebrate this announcement, the publisher has released two action-packed E3 2019 gameplay trailers. DOOM Eternal appears to be as good as DOOM 2016 and returns the fast-paced action that players enjoyed. Quake 2 RTX is now available for download on Steam for free

And the time has finally come ray-tracing fans. NVIDIA has just released Quake 2 RTX on Steam for free. This free version includes the 3 levels from the original shareware distribution, and Quake 2 RTX is also compatible with the full game (so those owning it will be able to experience the entire game with ray tracing).
