Star Wars: Battlefront – Reveal Trailer, Releases on November 17th
Electronic Arts and DICE have finally revealed the in-engine trailer for Star Wars: Battlefront. And while the company claimed that this is what the game actually looks like, we can safely say that the game won’t look anything close to this. For instance, LODs are ridiculously high there are no pop-ins. Let’s not exclude the ridiculously detailed textures that have been used and the lighting system that puts the entire Crysis franchise to shame. We’d love the final game to look similar to this, but until DICE reveals proper gameplay footage, we’ll simply be cautious about this whole ‘in-engine’ stuff. Star Wars: Battlefront – Upcoming Trailer Will Pack In-Engine Visuals, Lightsabers Semi-Confirmed
Star Wars Battlefront will be officially unveiled in a week, and today we’ve got some pretty cool stuff for those interested in it. First of all, this upcoming trailer will feature in-engine visuals (at least according to DICE’s Lead Level Designer, Dennis Brannvall. Battlefield: Hardline – First Patch Detailed
Visceral Games has revealed the changelog for Battlefield: Hardline’s first update. According to the changelog, this patch will nerf its drivable couch, will pack miscellaneous low frequency crash fixes for all platforms, and will increase the character limit in the MapList to support up to 150 maps in a rotation. Battlefield: Hardline Plagued By “Tages-Like” DRM, Game Locks Due to Hardware Changes
Back in 2012, Ubisoft was criticized for the DRM system used in Anno 2070; a really annoying DRM that locked the game whenever there was a certain number of hardware changes made to a computer (like changing your graphics cards). Obviously, this draconical DRM frustrated everyone and it appears that Visceral’s latest Battlefield game is plagued by a similar DRM.
