Activision has released the Revolution DLC for the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. This first DLC for BO2 is said to deliver an unparalleled amount of variety and content for all types of Call of Duty: Black Ops II players, featuring four all-new multiplayer maps set around the globe. Bohemia Interactive has released some new screenshots for its upcoming sim military shooter, ArmA 3. ArmA 3 will enter its alpha stage next week and those who pre-order it will be able to access it immediately. Bohemia will also launch a free alpha version of ArmA 3, one week later. Arma 3 Alpha will feature four showcase missions (Infantry, Vehicles, SCUBA and Helicopter), a limited subset of weapons and vehicles, two multiplayer scenarios, the powerful scenario editor and modding support. According to the company, these shots are from an early build of the game and – ironically – looks better than most current triple-A titles. Well, we already knew that Crysis 2 and 3 were limited by its consoles counterparts. Still, it’s good to see companies admitting that, and here comes today Cevat Yerli who stated that even Crysis 3 was limited by current-generation consoles. Yes, Crysis 3 is a great looking game on the PC and Crytek did exceptional things with it (great scaling on both CPU and GPU, even though it’s demanding as hell), however – and as we’ve stated about those physics calculations – the team did not take it to the next level.
