Electronic Arts has released the new Sim City game, a title that requires a constant internet connection in order to be enjoyed. And as you may have guessed, the game’s servers took a big hit during its launch day. Codemasters has revealed – via the game’s official FB page – a bunch of screenshots for GRID 2. In this huge set, the company included some new, previously unreleased, images that can be viewed below. Tomb Raider has just been released – in pretty much every region – but it seems that Nvidia users won’t be able to enjoy Crystal Dynamics’ title as the final build is seriously bugged for all Nvidia users. According to Nvidia, the final build of Tomb Raider suffers from performance and stability issues, and we can confirm that there are indeed major issues with this title, even with the latest GeForce Beta drivers. Ray Tracing is considered by a lot as the holy grail of computer graphics and lighting. However, there haven’t been any engines capable of offering such a feature in the last couple of years. Torment: Tides of Numenera may well be the most successful Kickstarter campaign ever, as inXile’s upcoming thematic successor to Planescape: Torment has managed to raise $900K and get funded in less than 10 hours. Now here is something really interesting. A HD version of Essemble Studios’ classic strategy game, Age of Empires II, has appeared on Steam’s registry. This HD version was added yesterday, on March 5th, and according to Steam’s registry, this will be a gift and not a proper game. Ubisoft announced today the release of a new patch for Far Cry 3, introducing a number of new features requested by players on both single player and multiplayer modes. This patch is live for all version of Far Cry 3, and you can view its complete changelog below. According to the French company, the features added or tweaked by this patch are an on-going effort to respond to players and give them more reasons to re-visit Rook Islands, to improve their skills with tougher challenges, and to re-discover the Far Cry 3 world.
