We’ve all been wondering what next-gen consoles will bring to the table, and according to CD Projekt RED, these new consoles will be more powerful than we initially thought. According to CD Projekt RED’s MD and studio head Adam Badowski next-gen consoles will most probably unify requirements, meaning that all versions will look really close to each other. Badowski confirmed that PC allows for more at the moment, however new platforms are stepping up and will – most probably – unify requirements for future games.
What we learned from Kickstarter these past months is that isometric titles can be quite successful. Ironically, most isometric games have surpassed every other Kickstarter project, which most probably means that PC gamers are not as graphics-whores as you may think they were. Or that they value gameplay over graphics. Or that most of those isometric games are sequels to beloved and classic titles that featured isometric perspectives. Whatever the reason may be, Harebrained Schemes has released the first gameplay footage of Shadowrun Returns, an isometric RPG that is said to bring back one of our most original & cherished game settings as a 2D turn-based RPG for tablets & PC, and that was funded by a Kickstarter campaign. Enjoy! Continue reading Shadowrun Returns – Alpha Gameplay Footage→

Ubisoft has released some new screenshots and artworks for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
