Enslaved: Odyssey to the West – SweetFX vs Vanilla + First Twenty Minutes Walkthrough

Enslaved

I seriously don’t know whether it is good that Enslaved: Odyssey to the West got released on the PC or not. I mean okay, it’s good to have this underrated title on our platform, however it puzzles me why Namco Bandai did not promote/advertise the PC version, and why did the publisher allow Ninja Theory to get away with such a mediocre PC port. Batman: Arkham Origins – PC Performance Analysis

Batman Arkham Origins

Batman: Arkham Origins is a title we’ve been looking forward to, and that’s primarily because we wanted to see whether Warner Montreal would optimize the game’s PC version or not. Would the game suffer from stuttering issues? Would the game run as awful as its predecessor, Arkham City? And would its PhysX effects bring current gen systems to their knees? Thankfully, we can now answer all those questions. Continue reading Batman: Arkham Origins – PC Performance Analysis →

Nvidia Tech Videos Try To Illustrate The Difference Between G-Sync & V-Sync

Nvidia G-SYNC

During its recent press event, Nvidia tried to illustrate the difference between G-Sync and V-Sync. As you may already know, G-Sync cannot be captured via regular cameras. Therefore, Nvidia claimed that a perfect V-Sync video (constant 60fps v-sync) is what G-Sync basically offers, even when the actual in-game framerate drops at 40fps. In order to showcase the huge difference, the green team compared the simulated G-Sync experience with a ‘real-world’ V-Sync experience, and PCGamesHardware was able to captured two examples from this comparison.
