Well, that was fast. Yesterday, a FOV tool was released by the Fovely community and today we found out – thanks Mikah – that this tool has been taken down after some legal threats from Activision. As you can clearly see, the download link has been replaced with the message “link removed due to a friendly threat from everyone’s favorite publishing firm.”
Rambo: The Video Game Gets A New Gameplay Trailer
Reef Entertainment has released a new gameplay trailer for Rambo: The Video Game. Rambo: The Video Game is an on-rails shooter that features destructible terrain, cover-based shooting and rag-doll physics. Now I’ll be honest here; this is not a great looking game. Yes, PC gamers will most probably be able to improve its visuals thanks to SweetFX, but its vanilla version is nothing that will wow you. Apart from that, it looks kind of fun so if the game is priced at the correct price, then we can’t find a reason not to at least give it a shot. Enjoy! Splinter Cell – Extraction Is A Great Live-Action Fan Film With Lots Of Lens Flares
Aris Juson has informed us about a new live action fan film based on Splinter Cell: Blacklist. This film is twelve minutes long and follows a covert agent who infiltrates an Engineer stronghold to rescue his partner. The overall acting is surprisingly well and I’d love to see more short films – that are based on video-games – from these guys. Seriously now, it’s a polished and well executed short film. The only downside is that they have overused anamorphic lens-flares and I believe we can all say that JJ Abrams wants them back. Apart from that, Splinter Cell – Extraction is a fan film that you really need to check out! Continue reading Splinter Cell – Extraction Is A Great Live-Action Fan Film With Lots Of Lens Flares

Call of Duty: Ghosts – Crackers Find A Way To Bypass The Game’s 6GB RAM Requirement
And it only took crackers a couple of hours to unlock Call of Duty: Ghosts’ idiotic RAM requirement. Though for obvious reasons we can’t share the file or tell you from where to download it, we can hint by saying that you should google the game’s title accompanied with the RAMFix word. With this workaround, those owning 4GB of RAM will be able to enjoy the game. Do note that with this workaround, the minimum RAM requirement for COD: Ghosts is 4GB (so if you own a 2GB PC system, you won’t be able to launch it). Call of Duty: Ghosts – PhysX Fur To Be Introduced Via A Patch, First PC Screenshots
Call of Duty: Ghosts has just been released in a number of regions, and we have some good and some bad news for PC gamers. The good news is that Infinity Ward will introduce PhysX Fur (same technique that will be used in The Witcher 3) via a future patch. The bad news is that the game won’t be able to launch on systems without – at least – 6BG of RAM. What’s really funny here is that the game does not use more than 1-2GB of RAM.
