Bethesda and Zenimax Online have released a new set of screenshots for The Elder Scrolls Online. The Elder Scrolls Online will be a prequel to Skyrim as players will discover an entirely new chapter of Elder Scrolls history in this ambitious world, set a millennium before the events of Skyrim as the daedric prince Molag Bal tries to pull all of Tamriel into his demonic realm. Danger Close Games and EA have released a massive day-one patch for Medal of Honor: Warfighter that tweaks and fixes various issues of the SP mode, fixes and improves a number of things in MP mode, rebalances some of the game’s weapons and fixes some other features that were supposed to be working. Hell, even the mouse scrolling was not working properly according to the release notes. Nordic Games has released two new trailers for Painkiller: Hell & Damnation that showcase all the new features of the PC release of the game plus the accompanying hellish heavy metal tracks “Monkey Nation” and “Run in circles” by Ojo Rojo. Painkiller: Hell & Damnation is built on Unreal Engine 3 and is slated for release next week. Today, Ubisoft and New Regency announced that they are partnering on the forthcoming Assassin’s Creed film. Ubisoft Motion Pictures, the film and television division of Ubisoft, will develop the Assassin’s Creed film in close collaboration with New Regency. The development of a screenplay is beginning immediately and the project is being fast tracked as the creative pieces come together, while allowing Ubisoft to maintain control of key elements of the movie’s creative direction. Project CARS member ‘JonZ’ has released a new community trailer for Slightly Mad Studios’ racer that showcases the wet weather effects that have introduced to the game’s latest pre-alpha build. Even though this is pre-alpha stuff, it is pretty obvious that cars can ‘get wet.’ This means that you won’t witness ‘clean and shiny’ cars – during the rain races – that are similar to those of GT5. Aventurine has revealed the first footage for the re-worked version of its Darkfall MMO game, Darkfall: Unholy Wars, that shows off the Baresark class. As the team described, in Darkfall Unholy Wars, one of the roles destined to serve players that love heavy melee combat is the Warrior. One of the Warrior schools is the Baresark. 2K Games and Machinima have unveiled a new trailer for BioShock Infinite that was voted for by the Irrational Facebook community. This trailer shows more of the streets (and skies) of Columbia, new ways to use your Sky-Hook and how Elizabeth can be your wingman in combat. In addition, 2K Games has released a new set of screenshots for Irrational’s upcoming FPS that can be viewed below.
