Modder ‘grimmquest’ has released some new screenshots from his total conversion mod for Doom 3, called Grimm Quest for the Gatherer’s Key. And although there are some low-res screenies here and there, the modder has done an excellent job with the environmental lighting. Or to put it simply – this TC has a great artistic style. Grimm Quest for the Gatherer’s Key is a fantasy hack&slash game with a lot of platforming elements that you might find in games like the Prince of Persia or Tomb Raider series, but from a First Person perspective. Slightly Mad Studios has released a new build for Project CARS that adds rain spray effects and Darkdeus has shared some new screenshots from it. We’ve also included two screenshots that were shared by Rage3D’s user, Mahjik. As you’d expect, these screenshots show in-game footage and have not been photoshopped in any way. Today we bring you some new images from the works of Crysis 2 modders d1ea, kabrita, USSR_GRAND, neo83_gr, angjminer, iSqueezee, chicken, and rGOt. iSqueezee and chicken had been experimenting with various assets, while rGOt and kabrita had been tweaking their tropical maps. angjminer on the other hand is creating a Doom map for Crysis 2, and both neo83_gr and USSR_GRAND are working on their own, custom maps. Do you know what would be really cool in Battlefield 3, apart from fighting against dinosaurs? Well, fighting against dragons. It appears that more gamers share this vision with us, and we were surprised to see some of them creating amazing mashups between these two games. Imagine a game with Skyrim’s openness and Battlefield’s mechanics. Man, that would be really interesting. Until some developers decide to offer us something like that though, we’ll have satisfy our need with the following two screenshots. Epic Games’ Mark Rein has revealed that last year’s trailer of Fortnite was running on Unreal Engine 3. According to Rein, the switch to Unreal Engine 4 happened this year and in order to showcase their improvements over the older version, Epic released the first set of screenshots from the latest version of Fortnite. The game has a cartoon-ish style and some sweet lighting/shadowing effects, but then again, the same graphical elements where the ones that stood out in the game’s debut trailer. Rockstar has revealed two new screenshots for GTA V. In addition, the company stated that the development of GTA V is going well, but the game is a huge project.
