Earlier last week, Hayssam Keilany revealed his intentions to stop the work on his iCEnhancer mod for Skyrim. Keilany believed that there were a lot of ENBSeries mods for Bethesda’s RPG and that there was no reason for him to create one. Fast forward a few days and here we are today, with Keilany announcing that he’ll continue his work till he’s satisfied. Ranmantaru Games have revealed the first screenshots and video for their upcoming indie game that is inspired by the classic Magic Carpet, Arcane Worlds. Arcane Worlds will feature simulated water and lava, swarms of creatures, and generated worlds. Players will take the roll of a sorcerer, exploring mysterious worlds, changing them, discovering ancient secrets, creating new spells, fighting creatures and other mages, building and destroying as they please. The UK PC Charts have just been revealed and as we can see, Football Manager 2012 is once again at the top place, followed by The Sims 3: Pets and The Sims 3. Star Wars: The Old Republic is losing places each and every week, whereas Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning has lost eight places. BioWare and Electronic Arts have released the full version of the CGI ‘Take Earth Back’ trailer for Mass Effect 3. As with all CGI trailers, it will make you wish we had this kind of visuals in our games. Perhaps sometime we will. Perhaps not. Now this is really interesting. YouTube’s member ‘xKyleN’ uploaded an amazing video walkthrough of Alan Wake’s Bright Fall. Players could not explore this town and what’s really interesting here is that this town is actually detailed and polished. Remedy has stated that Alan Wake was never meant to be an open-world game but this walkthrough will give you an idea of what it would look like in case it was. Obviously, the town is deserted and there aren’t any NPCs. xKyleN used a trainer or a ‘teleport hack’ in order to explore it, but still, it does look nice, right? Prince of Persia was such a classic title but who can forget that awful stopping animation, right? Or the fact that you could die so easily from a fall. Therefore, it comes as no surprise to see a parody about it. Karahat is a new Israeli comedy group that went ahead and created the following real-life parody for this classic and they’ve managed to nail every aspect of the game. If there is one thing we hate in the gaming industry, that’s definitely when publishers are pushing developers hard to hit their deadlines. Publishers should give developers the freedom to create whatever they have in mind, otherwise the end result could turn out to be mediocre, unpolished and horribly rushed out. And it seems that the new Syndicate could suffer from a rushed development as the game’s lead co-op programmer, Lars Magnus Lang, admitted that the company could actually done more if they were given an extra six months. Alan Wake PC has been released and Remedy is already looking into the various bugs/issues that have not been fixed yet. As we’ve told you, SLI is broken and although Nvidia have stated that they have a proper SLI profile for it, the green team decided to not release it as there are some SLI issues with the game’s engine. According to Remedy’s Markus, the company knows about what needs to be done to resolve those artifacts, but it will some extra time to fix them.
