It appears that the first screenshots and a short clip from the upcoming trailer of Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced have been leaked online. So, be sure to view them before Ubisoft takes them down.
Ubisoft will officially reveal Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced on April 23rd. From the looks of it, its trailer will be one minute long. According to a footnote, it will include both in-game cinematics and gameplay footage.
For obvious reasons, we won’t be hosting these leaked images. I’m pretty sure Ubisoft will do everything in its power to take them down. That’s why you should view – and save them on your PC – right now. In an hour or so, they might not be available.
An early comparison has also surfaced online. From what we can see, Resynced will be a faithful remake. In other words, all cinematics will be identical to those of the original version.
We’re most likely looking at a remake similar in approach to Oblivion Remastered. From a gameplay standpoint, I don’t expect dramatic changes between the remake and the original release. Maybe a few quality-of-life improvements here and there, but nothing groundbreaking. Of course, I could be wrong. It’s possible the devs will introduce more substantial gameplay updates while keeping the cinematics closely aligned with the style and presentation of the original. At this stage, we’ll just have to wait and see how far they decide to take it.
According to rumors, Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced will be released in July 2026. If that’s the case, the trailer will include that release date.
Anyway, there is nothing more to add to this story. So, go ahead and watch the short gameplay clip, and then view the leaked images. And stay tuned for more!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
