Resident Evil Code Veronica Unreal Engine 5 Fan Remake

8 Minutes of Gameplay From the Resident Evil Code Veronica Fan Remake in Unreal Engine 5

YouTube’s ‘Luli Studio’ has shared a video, showcasing 8 minutes of gameplay from his fan remake of Resident Evil Code Veronica in Unreal Engine 5.

Luli Studio is the same artist behind the recent fan remakes of Resident Evil 3.5 Fan Remake and Resident Evil 1 in Unreal Engine 5. However, contrary to the RE3.5 Fan Remake, the artist does not plan to release this one to the public. This was made for portfolio purposes.

Since this is a one-man project, you should obviously temper your expectations. This is not representative of what a triple-A studio can achieve in Unreal Engine 5. Still, it can give you a glimpse at what Resident Evil Code Veronica could look like with modern visuals and a third-person camera.

In this video, we get to see Claire Redfield exploring the chilling cemetery and the terrifying interior of the legendary Ashford Mansion.

As the artist claimed, the environments took him two weekends to finish. He is also aware of the stiff character animations. I know a lot of you will complain about them. Yes, they do not look that great. In Part 2, he aims to greatly improve them. He also plans a massive scenario expansion exploring the dark, puzzle-filled corners of the Dormitorie.
