vkQuake 1.0, Quake 1 port using the Vulkan API, is now available for download

Novum has released a brand new version of the Quake 1 port that replaces OpenGL with Vulkan, vkQuake. In case you weren’t aware of, vkQuake is a Quake 1 port using Vulkan instead of OpenGL for rendering, it is based on the popular QuakeSpasm port and runs all mods compatible with it like Arcane Dimensions or In The Shadows. Steam will end official Windows XP and Windows Vista support on January 1st, 2019

Valve has announced that Steam will officially stop supporting the Windows XP and Windows Vista operating systems on January 1st, 2019. What this basically means is that the Steam Client will no longer run on those versions of Windows after that date and as such you won’t have access to your older games that could – theoretically – still run on these operating systems. Wasteland 30th Anniversary Bundle announced, will feature a remaster of the first Wasteland game

inXile Entertainment announced the Wasteland 30th Anniversary Bundle, a celebration of the video game series which launched the post-apocalyptic genre in video gaming and inspired successors such as the Fallout series. The bundle includes items from across the history of the series, along with two new items – a musical track by Mark Morgan, which represents the first publicly available new content from 2019’s Wasteland 3, and a currently in pre-production 30th anniversary remaster of the original Wasteland by Krome Studios. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will support 60fps on the PC

Vicarious Visions has just confirmed – at E3 2018 – that the PC version of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will support 60fps. This is something that some gamers thought was not possible, due to the game’s coding, however it’s now been confirmed that the PC version will run at 60fps, and will be the only version as all console versions will be locked at 30fps. First gameplay details about Cyberpunk 2077 revealed from the behind closed doors E3 2018 demo

As we’ve already reported, CD Projekt RED has shown Cyberpunk 2077 behind closed doors. And thankfully, the first gameplay details from this build have surfaced online.
