Warner Bros: No plans for Mortal Kombat PC BUT we have been gauging interest about it

Warner Bros sent us a press release for Mortal Kombat’s Komplete Edition and what’s really interesting is that the company decided to pick a side and inform us whether Mortal Kombat would actually hit the PC or not. Given the fact that some other triple-A fighting games are on the PC (or coming), someone would assume that both NetherRealm and Warner Bros would gladly jump on the PC-wagon, right? Well, it seems that this acclaimed part of our beloved fighting series won’t hit our platform anytime soon, however there is still hope. Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II comes to CryEngine 3

Ben Shelley has created something that most old-school PC gamers will appreciate. Ben was required – for a University Project – to modernise a small section of an old game and bring it into the CryEngine 3. Therefore, this fella decided to recreate a street section that was inspired from the beginning of Star Wars Dark Forces II on Nar Shadda. The map looks lovely and we’d wish Ben could release it to explore it in real-time. Oh well, you can’t have everything in this life. Kudos to PCGamer for spotting it. Enjoy the video!
