And here comes a major leak for Rockstar’s upcoming GTA game, GTA V. It appears that an insider has just leaked Vinewood’s map and you can view some screenshots of it after the jump. Our sources tell us that this is legit and is actually the map that will be featured in GTA V, but as always, take that with a grain of salt. Built in the Source engine and originally released in 2008 as a mod for Half Life 2, Dear Esther quickly established itself as an award-winning, critically acclaimed experimental first-person game. It abandons all traditional game play, leaving only a rich world soaked in atmosphere, and an abstract, poetic story to explore. Great news for indie fans as Waves, a twin stick arcade shooter that is powered by Unreal Engine has just been released. Waves is priced at only 6.79 euros and can purchased from its official website. In addition, you can go ahead and download its demo to test it before getting it. I’ve said it before and will say it again; it was a really bad move to force both Origin and Battlelog in order to enjoy Battlefield 3. And as you’d expect, the PC gaming community has come up with some ways to override these obstacles. Well… sort of as the way to override Origin is illegal. Still, PC gamers have that option and it’s quite disturbing that we have to rely on crackers – yeah that’s right. Croteam and Devolver released a new trailer for their upcoming first person old school, kill-them-all shooter, Serious Sam 3: BFE. Serious Sam 3: BFE is a glorious throwback to the golden age of first-person shooters where men were men, cover was for amateurs and pulling the trigger made things go boom. Serving as a prequel to the original indie sensation, Serious Sam: The First Encounter, Serious Sam 3 takes place during the Earth’s final struggle against Mental’s invading legions of beasts and mercenaries. Deep Silver and Piranha Bytes released the first episode of the ‘making of’ video series for Risen 2: Dark Waters. In this episode, the developers Piranha Bytes lead us on the path of development of a believable fantasy world. Risen 2 looks definitely better than its predecessor, although we can’t say that we are utterly impressed with its visuals. But then again, who cares as both the Gothic series – prior Gothic 4 – and the first Risen were all about their gameplay. And we are pretty sure that Piranha Bytes will deliver once again.
