Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved - and still does - the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. XCOM 2 – Latest update adds controller support

Firaxis has released a new update for XCOM 2 that adds controller support. As the team noted, XCOM 2 has now plug & play compatibility with both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 controllers, and alternate controller options may require additional user adjustments.

Ubisoft offers Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon for free, available for download right now

In order to celebrate its 30th anniversary, Ubisoft is offering PC gamers seven digital games (from June to December) free of charge. Last month, the French company offered Beyond Good & Evil and today the big publisher made Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon available to everyone.

New Metro game reported for a 2017 release

It’s been rumoured that a new Metro has been under development for quite a while. Well, not anymore. According to the official website for the Metro 2035 novel by Dmitry Glukhovsky, a new Metro game is indeed under development and it is currently planned for a 2017 release.
