Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved - and still does - the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. Reto-Moto announced today that Heroes & Generals has received a new render engine providing significant performance improvements. Heroes & Generals is running on its own proprietary technology called Retox, and it now supports DX12 in experimental mode.

According to the release notes, this update packs performance improvements on various hardware, fixes some performance hitches in Cooperative Campaign, and comes with under-the-hood preparations for future ranked multiplayer.

NVIDIA released today its highly anticipated DirectX 12 performance driver. According to the release notes, the GeForce 378.78 driver offers optimal performance in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands and includes DirectX 12 optimizations which provide additional performance increases for a variety of titles.
