Snapshot Games has announced Phoenix Point, the spiritual successor to X-COM that is being developed by the original creator of the X-COM. Phoenix Point will be a turn-based tactics and world-based strategy game that will launch Q4 2018, and Snapshot Games launched a FIG campaign to raise $500K.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite releases on September 19th, gets story trailer & new screenshots

Capcom today announced some new information for MARVEL VS. CAPCOM: INFINITE. According to the press release, the game will feature free-form 2v2 team battles integrated into a wide variety of exciting and accessible single player modes and rich multiplayer content for new players and longtime fans alike.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is now available and does not feature any multiplayer mode

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 has just been released, however it appears that the game does not feature any multiplayer mode at all. According to CI Games, the multiplayer mode will be made available in the third quarter of 2017.

id Software’s CTO, Robert Duffy, has revealed that the team is already working on the next generation of its id Tech Engine. Although Duffy did not reveal much, he did say that this new version of id Tech will be more parallel than id Tech 6.

Madworld – PC Dolphin emulated version versus original Wii version comparison video

YouTube’s member ‘HandZ Gaming’ has shared a video that puts the Dolphin version of Madworld against its original Wii version. Madworld appears to be running perfectly fine in the latest 5.0 version of Dolphin, and this video gives an idea of the visual improvements that are possible thanks to emulation. Enjoy!

Zelda: Breath of the NES is a remake of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s 2D prototype version

In order to create The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Nintendo used a 2D prototype version of it in order to experiment and determine what would be featured in it. This prototype version was showcased at GDC 2017 and Winter Drake is currently working on a remake based on that version.
