New Steam Play allows Linux gamers to play Windows titles via Proton and the Vulkan API

Valve has released a new and improved beta version of Steam Play that allows Linux gamers to play Windows titles. In order to achieve this, Steam Play includes a modified distribution of Wine, called Proton, to provide compatibility with Windows game titles and uses the Vulkan API.

Activision and Treyarch have released a new trailer for Call of Duty Black Ops 4, dedicated to its PC version. According to the companies, the game will be fully optimized on the PC and will support ultra-wide screens and multi monitors, is designed for mouse and keyboard, and will support 4K resolutions and uncapped framerates.

Pearl Abyss has announced that Black Desert Online 2018 Remaster is now available for download. This remaster features completely revamped graphics and audio, including the use of physically based rendering, improved post-processing with YEBIS, as well as new, original soundtracks and voiceovers.
