Square Enix today released a new video for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn in which Lightning, the heroine of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII descends upon the realm of Eorzea. She appears in one of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn’s Full Active Time Events (FATE), a periodic battle that will allow players to fight alongside Lightning. Upon completing this event successfully, players can receive gear and weaponry modeled after those found in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.
