Square Enix unveiled today a new trailer and images for Murdered: Soul Suspect. The trailer, titled “The Witness”, is the latest in an episodic series for Murdered: Soul Suspect, a dark, supernatural detective thriller with a unique gameplay twist: solving your own murder from the afterlife. Square Enix has released the Gamescom 2013 trailer of Thief, in which the japanese publisher revealed the game’s release date. This new Thief title, that is powered by Unreal Engine 3, is scheduled for a February 25th, 2014, release on PC, PS3, X360, Xbox One and PS4. Thief is being developed by EIDOS Montreal, the studio behind the critically acclaimed Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and promises to be as a good refreshed tile (to the game’s gameplay mechanics) as Human Revolution was. Square Enix today announced the final beta test and early access dates for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. According to the press release, new users will be able to participate in the final beta test on August 17th through the 19th, both for PC and PS3, giving players the opportunity to dive in to the massive-scale RPG’s final testing phase. In addition, fans that have pre-ordered the game will receive early access and be among the first to play the game beginning August 24th. Square Enix has released the E3 2013 walkthrough demo footage of Murdered: Soul Suspect. Murdered: Soul Suspect promises to offer a whole new realm of mystery where the case is personal and the clues just out of reach. Players take the role of detective Ronan O’Connor whose life is brought to an untimely end by a brutal and relentless killer. Unable to move on and stuck in the limbo world of Dusk, he won’t find peace until he can bring his killer to justice from the afterlife. Using his new-found supernatural abilities, Ronan is free to explore the town of Salem, Massachusetts, from his shadowy afterlife. Unable to communicate with the detectives on his case, Ronan must read the minds of the living, influencing their thoughts and actions, piecing together the puzzle, while battling demonic spirits to save his soul and uncover the shocking truth about who is responsible for his death.
