Recently, Mr. Jonathan Jones, an Art Critic for the UK based newspaper “Guardian” claimed that he was against video games for being an art form and having them on display on museums. His argument in his quote was this: “Walk around the Museum of Modern Art, look at those masterpieces it holds by Picasso and Jackson Pollock, and what you are seeing is a series of personal visions. A work of art is one person’s reaction to life. Any definition of art that robs it of this inner response by a human creator is a worthless definition. 2K Games’ third-person shooter has been released alongside Ubisoft’s latest iteration of the Ghost Recon series, and here we are today with a Performance Analysis for it. Spec Ops: The Line follows Future Soldier’s example and is rather friendly to casual gamers and is straying away from its roots. Instead of a tactical game, we got ourselves a third-person action game in which the player can give simple, typical orders to its group. Quite frankly, if you’ve been a fan of the first Spec Ops games, you’ll be disappointed by this one. However, keep an open mind because as a third-person action game, Spec Ops: The Line is actually great, tells a compelling story, and performs amazingly on a variety of PC configurations. Spec Ops: The Line – PC Demo Is Now Available

As promised, 2K Games and Yager have released the PC demo of Spec Ops: The Line. The PC demo is 2GB in size and can be downloaded from Steam. Players that download the demo will be introduced to the brutal action and combat of Spec Ops: The Line. The single-player narrative unfolds within Dubai after a series of cataclysmic sandstorms cut the city off from the rest of the world. Playing as Captain Martin Walker, gamers add to the city’s destruction by engaging in action-packed firefights as they search for Colonel John Konrad and his missing battalion, The Damned 33rd. In search of answers and survivors, players who experience the demo will tear through portions of two early chapters of Spec Ops: The Line. Spec Ops: The Line PC Demo Release Date & Requirements Announced

2K Games has just announced that the PC demo of Spec Ops: The Line will be released in June 12th. As promised, the demo comes to our beloved platform before the official release of its retail/digital final version that is currently slated for June 29th. Not only that, but the company has also unveiled the minimum and recommended PC requirements for it that can be viewed below.
