Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad – Price Halved To $19.99

With the success of the recent free weekend on Steam and lots of new players enjoying the Red Orchestra 2 Game of the Year Edition, Tripwire has decided to do a couple of things to make it even easier to get into the game. First, the company has decided to cut the price in half to $19.99 (14.99 GBP/17.99 EUR/299 RUB) for the game. Second, they’re giving everyone that owns Red Orchestra 2 a guest pass that they can hand off to a friend for them to check out the game free of charge. Red Orchestra 2 ‘Game of the Year Edition’ Announced

Tripwire Interactive has just announced the GOTY Edition for Red Orchestra 2. Red Orchestra 2 Game of the Year Edition will feature an amazing new map, diverse new game modes and a host of new features. The GOTY Edition Free Content Pack will download automatically for everyone who already owns the game – and, so everyone else can try the full game, Red Orchestra 2 will be available completely free to play for everyone on Steam this weekend, starting Thursday 24 May 2012 at 10AM Pacific Time. Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad will introduce a new ‘RO classic’ mode

You know what? I quite like Red Orchestra 2. Sure some might say that it was bugged to death when it got released but right now, the game is functional, runs great (no slowdowns with our Q9650 @ 4.2Ghz with GTX295), and is greatly supported from Tripwire. Yeah, it’s not as awesome as its first part but this does not mean that it is a bad game. What was that? The bleeding system that was introduced got on your nerves? Well, get ready because Tripwire is preparing a new, ‘RO classic’ mode that will be similar to the old style of Red Orchestra and there won’t be any bleeding. Oh yeah. New Red Orchestra 2 Update comes with Modding and map making tools

Tripwire Interactive sent us word about a new update that is available on Steam. The key features of this new update are the Modding and map making tools, as well as the overall performance optimization. While the limited functionality preview versions of the SDK have been available to select modders for a while, this release now makes the full capabilities of the Mod SDK available to everyone. Tripwire Interactive has just informed us about the latest patch of Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad. Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad – New Update Released

We were a bit worried for the fate of Red Orchestra 2 as Tripwire hasn’t updated it for quite some time. Fortunately though, the company is still supporting it and has just released a new patch for it. This update comes with some map balances, improved physics performance, as well as improved frame rate smoothing video setting to give more stable FPS. Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad – September 8th Update Going Live Today; Introduces Demorecording

Tripwire has just announced that the latest update for their WW2 first person shooter, Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad will go live today. This update fixes various issues and features an initial implementation of demorecording to support clan play and server admins. We should note though that this demorecording is still in its early stage as only certain functionality is hooked up. Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad – New Update Released

Tripwire Interactive released today a new update for their WW2 military sim FPS game, Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad. As always, this update will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client and features some minor fixes. Additionally, this new update adds a console command for any players wishing to manually do a stats reset, as well as minor tweaks to the high end of the honor level ranking.
