Rockstar revealed today that the Local Justice DLC of Max Payne 3 will be coming to the PC on August 9th. The Local Justice DLC features three new maps for Max Payne 3 Multiplayer, the M4 Assault Rifle, Light Fingers Item and a new São Paulo Police multiplayer faction. The DLC is currently available on X360 and PSN and you can view below some screenshots from the PC version of it. In addition, the Special Edition Pack of Max Payne 3 PC will be available alongside the Local Justice DLC and will feature the Classic Multiplayer Character Pack of eight playable fan favorite multiplayer characters including Mona Sax, Vladimir Lem and Max from Max Payne 2, plus the Disorderly Conduct Multiplayer Weapons Pack. Rockstar Games today announced that it is expanding its development capabilities in Toronto, and has opened a larger, new, custom-built facility in Oakville, Ontario for the Rockstar Toronto team. The studio expansion is being supported by the Ontario government. Financial details were not disclosed. In conjunction with the expansion, Rockstar Games is moving its 35-person Vancouver-based development team to the new facility over the next six months, and is offering all members of that team the opportunity to join Rockstar Toronto or take positions in other Rockstar studios. As we said in our PC Performance Analysis, Max Payne 3 has the same vRam limitation that was present and in GTA IV. As with Rockstar’s open world game though, there is a way to bypass it. All you have to do is to locate the commandline.txt file that is located in the folder where you’ve installed Max Payne 3. Open this file and add ‘-availablevidmem 2100’ and you will be able to select each and every graphical option. Rockstar has released a new update for the PC version of Max Payne 3 that adds a mouse acceleration option to the controls menu, an aspect ratio setting to the graphics menu, adds text chat to lobbies by default and fixes the MSAA white outline.
