Yesterday, we informed you about a one hour long video from the alpha version of Battlefront 3. Well, it seems we have another video that was leaked just a couple of hours ago. Spotted by Reddit’s member ‘zacattack101’ and posted by Vimeo’s ‘Blue_Monkey’, this video shows the game in its Alpha stage, and the stage it was at when it was cancelled. Available for £11.99, or at half price for current Subscribers (£5.99), players can extend their personal Star Wars saga, with exciting new playable missions, new features and a striking new planet, Makeb. Playing through Rise of the Hutt Cartel will raise the game’s level cap to 55 and allow players to access a host of new, higher-level group content in the recently released Game Update 2.0: Scum and Villainy. Kotaku has unveiled some new footage from an unannounced game that was being developed by Lucas Arts, before the company was shut down. Codenamed ‘Version Two’, this Star Wars project looks similar to the Battlefront series. Kotaku goes one step further and claims that this project was meant to evolved to Star Wars Battlefront 3, a game that will most probably never see the light of day. Enjoy! Avalanche Studios’ founder claims that Star Wars 1313 needed another two years to be completed

A couple of minutes ago, we informed you about the ‘closure’ of Lucas Arts. Okay, the studio is not closing down but we might consider it dead as it will no longer be developing new titles. Lucas Arts had in store a pretty amazing Star Wars game that pushed the Unreal Engine 3 to its limits. However, that game was nowhere near close to a playable level and according to Avalanche Studios’ founder, it needed another two years to be completed.
