Star Wars Battlefront II 2005 receives a brand new official Multiplayer patch

Now here is a pleasant surprise. Disney has just released a brand new multiplayer patch for the 2005 version of Star Wars: Battlefront 2. Now I don’t know if this is any indication of Disney giving EA the middle finger (after what has happened with Star Wars Battlefront 2’s micro-transactions), however this is definitely great news for all Battlefront 2 players that decided to stick with the original title. Turok 2 – Artworks, Screenshots & Video Revealed For Cancelled FPS Title

NeoGAF’s member ‘Demoncarnotaur‘ has shared a number of artworks and screenshots from Turok 2 – the game has already been cancelled so don’t expect to see it anytime soon, unless Disney decides to revive it. And it’s a pity because there was a lot of potential for a good dino game (if what has been shown is any indication of what the actual game could look like). Okay okay, it cannot much next-gen titles, but it could be a fun multi-platform game. There is also a short video below, showcasing the game’s T-Rex, so make sure to give it a go. Get excited everyone. Okay, some of you won’t be happy but this is at least a good thing, right? Walt Disney and Electronic Arts announced today a new multi-year exclusive licensing agreement to develop and publish globally new games based on Star Wars characters and storylines. In other words, there is still hope for a new Battlefront game, as well as the completion of Star Wars 1313. SEGA in collaboration with Disney Interactive today announced the upcoming digital release of Castle of Illusion featuring Mickey Mouse, a complete re-imagining of the iconic Mega Drive/Genesis side-scrolling adventure first released in 1990.
