Hawken’s Steam servers are being shut down, game to be removed from Steam on January 2nd

Hawken Entertainment has announced that it is shutting down the Steam servers for Hawken in order to refocus its development efforts. The game’s DLCs will be removed today from Steam, and the game itself will be removed from Steam on January 2nd, 2018. New trailers for Hawken, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger & Splinter Cell: Blacklist

Adhesive Games and Ubisoft have released new trailers for Hawken and Splinter Cell: Blacklist, respectively. Hawken’s trailer shows off a new map for this mecha MP FPS, while Splinter Cell: Blacklist’s trailer showcases the co-op mode that will be featured. In addition, you can find below the launch trailer for Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. Hawken is already available on the PC, while Splinter Cell: Blacklist will be released on August 23rd. Hawken Showcases Incredible ‘Red Faction-ish’ Destruction With This New GDC 2013 Trailer

Earlier this week, we presented you a mind-blowing video from Nvidia, showcasing the destruction that is possible via its rigid bodies simulation. Today, we are happy to present you a GDC 2013 trailer of Hawken, showcasing – almost – the same level of destruction via the same technique. And in all truthfulness, this looks bad-ass. Hell, even if you’re not a fan of Hawken, you’ll be utterly impressed by this new destruction system. Nvidia Showcases PhysX Effects With F2P Mech Title, Hawken

Nvidia has released a new video, showcasing the PhysX effects that are present in the F2P action mech title, Hawken. This video also demonstrates a soon-to-come PhysX feature in Hawken: APEX Turbulence. APEX Turbulence is a PhysX feature which uses velocity fields to simulate particle motion. Question now is whether Hawken takes advantage of PhysX 3.0 or not, and whether those PhysX effects will bring the game to its knees. Hawken is powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine 3 and those interested can sign-up (and download its client) from its official website. Enjoy! Hawken enters open beta next week, Path of Exile open beta delayed to January 2013

Free-to-play fans, we got some good and some bad news for you today. The good news is that Hawken, Adhesive Games’ F2P mech game, is scheduled to enter open beta next week, on December 12th. The bad news is that Path of Exile, one of our most anticipated action hack-n-slash RPGs, is delayed to January 2013 as Grinding Gear believes that a Christmas release is really dangerous and could possibly damage the game and its fanbase. Hawken – Second Closed Beta Dated, Presale Bundle Packages Revealed

Meteor Entertainment announced the launch date for the second closed beta phase of free-to-play mech title, Hawken. Hawken is the upcoming first person mech shooter developed by Adhesive Games and if you missed piloting your mech in the closed beta event the weekend of October 26th, you will be delighted to hear that the second closed beta will run from Thursday November 8th to Tuesday November 13th. Hawken – Web Series Trailer Released

Warner Bros and Machinima have unveiled the debut trailer for the web-series that will be based on Adhesive Games mech game, Hawken. This new web-series is being created by Warner Premiere (a division of Warner Brothers), produced by Copper Media (a division of Silver Pictures), DJ2 Entertainment, and Meteor Entertainment.
