Hawken Showcases Incredible ‘Red Faction-ish’ Destruction With This New GDC 2013 Trailer

Earlier this week, we presented you a mind-blowing video from Nvidia, showcasing the destruction that is possible via its rigid bodies simulation. Today, we are happy to present you a GDC 2013 trailer of Hawken, showcasing – almost – the same level of destruction via the same technique. And in all truthfulness, this looks bad-ass. Hell, even if you’re not a fan of Hawken, you’ll be utterly impressed by this new destruction system. In fact, this trailer reminded us of Red Faction’s destruction, bringing back memories of how we felt when we created our first big hole in Volition’s classic title. Enjoy the trailer after the jump! Nvidia Showcases PhysX Effects With F2P Mech Title, Hawken

Nvidia has released a new video, showcasing the PhysX effects that are present in the F2P action mech title, Hawken. This video also demonstrates a soon-to-come PhysX feature in Hawken: APEX Turbulence. APEX Turbulence is a PhysX feature which uses velocity fields to simulate particle motion. Question now is whether Hawken takes advantage of PhysX 3.0 or not, and whether those PhysX effects will bring the game to its knees. Hawken enters open beta next week, Path of Exile open beta delayed to January 2013

Free-to-play fans, we got some good and some bad news for you today. The good news is that Hawken, Adhesive Games’ F2P mech game, is scheduled to enter open beta next week, on December 12th. The bad news is that Path of Exile, one of our most anticipated action hack-n-slash RPGs, is delayed to January 2013 as Grinding Gear believes that a Christmas release is really dangerous and could possibly damage the game and its fanbase. Hawken – Second Closed Beta Dated, Presale Bundle Packages Revealed

Meteor Entertainment announced the launch date for the second closed beta phase of free-to-play mech title, Hawken. Hawken is the upcoming first person mech shooter developed by Adhesive Games and if you missed piloting your mech in the closed beta event the weekend of October 26th, you will be delighted to hear that the second closed beta will run from Thursday November 8th to Tuesday November 13th. Hawken – Web Series Trailer Released

Warner Bros and Machinima have unveiled the debut trailer for the web-series that will be based on Adhesive Games mech game, Hawken. This new web-series is being created by Warner Premiere (a division of Warner Brothers), produced by Copper Media (a division of Silver Pictures), DJ2 Entertainment, and Meteor Entertainment. Warner Premiere secures rights for a ‘Hawken’ web-series

Warner Premiere today announced it has secured the rights to develop a web series for the highly anticipated futuristic mech shooter game “Hawken.” The game, available December 12, 2012, is set in a post-apocalyptic, over industrialized planet where humans are battling for dwindling resources. Initial plans for the web series will take fans through crucial events that spawn this grim fight for survival. Copper Media, a new division of Silver Pictures Entertainment, Warner Bros. Digital Distribution and DJ2 Entertainment are attached to produce. Further details about the production will be announced in the coming months. Adhesive Games has released a live action trailer for their amazing mecha multiplayer game, Hawken. AwesomeRoboMedia, on the other hand, created a fan-made trailer from various E3 2012 scenes and you can view both of them below. Adhesive Games’ mech action fast-paced MP game, Hawken looks gorgeous and since PAX East is under way, the company has released a new cinematic trailer for it. Hawken is a multiplayer mech combat game.
