AMD Ryzen CPUs available on March 2nd, offers 52% IPC improvement over Excavator, first official benchmarks

AMD has officially announced today that it will release its Ryzen CPUs on March 2nd. According to the red team, there will be three models available at launch; the Ryzen 7 1800X, Ryzen 7 1700X and Ryzen 7 1700. What’s also great is that AMD confirmed the rumoured prices for these processors. And yes, the high-end Ryzen model will be priced at under $500. AMD Ryzen 7 1700X – First benchmarks & CPU images leaked online, beats Intel’s 6800K & 5960X

The folks over at XFASTEST have leaked the first images and the first benchmarks for AMD’s Ryzen 7 1700X CPU. According to the results, the AMD Ryzen 7 1700X CPU beats Intel’s 6800K & 5960X CPUs in both the 3DMark Fire Strike Physics Benchmark and the Cinebench tests. Halo Wars 2’s official requirements leak NVIDIA’s unannounced GPU, the GeForce GTX1080Ti

By this time, we all pretty much know that NVIDIA will shortly release the GeForce GTX1080Ti. And while the green team has not officially announced anything yet, a lot of people believe that it will reveal (and perhaps release) this GPU during a GeForce event at this year’s GDC 2017. Intel will release its new, 8th-generation, Coffee Lake CPUs in the second half of 2017

Things are about to get really interesting this year. We all know that AMD is about to its release its new Ryzen CPUs. And while most gamers are looking forward to it, it appears that Intel will not stand still and lose the fight.
