In order to offer better stability, EA removed the Cheetah mode of SimCity and as you may have expected, a lot of PC gamers got angry with that decision. Dead Space Franchise Is Going Down Due To Low Sales – UPDATE – EA & Visceral Deny It

Dead Space
Abandon ship everyone; Dead Space 4 is going down. It seems that the franchise has been canned – or put on hold – as Videogamer reported that Dead Space 4’s development has been ceased. The reason behind this act? Dead Space 3’s low sales. Ironic, isn’t it? Well, we all saw that coming with that micro-transaction thing that EA tried to pull off. Dead Space 3 – PC Performance Analysis

Dead Space 3 v2
Before starting, let us apologize for not offering you this Performance Analysis sooner. Unfortunately, EA seemed hesitant on sending a PC review copy, and that’s why we had to delay it. Perhaps this is due to the fact that Visceral Games’ Executive Producer lied about offering the same gaming experience to all platforms or because EA feared that we’d bring the hammer down on it. Either way, EA should not be so ashamed of it. Why you ask? But because Dead Space 3 is a fine PC port. Yes, there isn’t any FOV option and the game suffers low-resolution textures but overall, this is as good as most multi-platform games, has proper on-screen keyboard indications, has amazing mouse support, and is not taxing – while looking great – at all. Crytek’s CEO Admits That Crysis 3 Was Limited By Current-Generation Consoles

Crysis 3 v3
Well, we already knew that Crysis 2 and 3 were limited by its consoles counterparts. Still, it’s good to see companies admitting that, and here comes today Cevat Yerli who stated that even Crysis 3 was limited by current-generation consoles. Yes, Crysis 3 is a great looking game on the PC and Crytek did exceptional things with it (great scaling on both CPU and GPU, even though it’s demanding as hell), however – and as we’ve stated about those physics calculations – the team did not take it to the next level. Crysis 3 – PC Performance Analysis

Crysis 2 v4
Crysis 3 has been unleashed on the PC and it’s time to see how Crytek’s latest FPS title performs on the PC platform. As you may have heard, Crysis 3 is a DX11-only title and we have to confess that it sports the best visuals we’ve ever seen. However, it seems that CryEngine 3 is being pushed to its limits with those physics calculations that were introduced. Ironically, all physics are calculated by the CPU, meaning that you will nee a really top of the line CPU in order to enjoy it. But more on this later.
