Modder ‘SageIchigo’ has released Dark Souls Overhaul Project version 4.5 for Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition. According to the modder, this mod changes all the textures in the game with HD versions or re-imaginings of the textures, while still trying to retain the Souls feeling. Dark Souls Remastered’s reveal is by far the worst we’ve seen in recent history and that’s because Bandai Namco is constantly changing crucial details about it. One of them was HDR for PS4. Initially, the publisher claimed that Sony’s console would support it but now there is no mention of such a thing. Naturally, this doesn’t really matter for us PC gamers, however, the next change that the publisher has done affects all previous owners of Dark Souls PC. Earlier today, Bandai Namco revealed that Dark Souls Remastered will be coming to the PC on May 25th. Naturally, and given the awful initial state of the PC version of the first Dark Souls game, a lot of PC gamers wondered whether this would be a free upgrade for them.
