RAGE – No Advanced Graphics Options for the PC version

Lets face it, iD Software are the daddies of PC shooters. Thanks to them, we got some of the most amazing games and engines. So it comes as no surprise to be literally shocked with the company’s decision to exclude any advanced graphical options in the PC version of RAGE. Yeap, you read that right. RAGE Steam Pre-Load Now Available

Contrary to the console versions of RAGE, the PC one is safe and hasn’t been leaked yet. That could change though as Steam has just announced that RAGE is now available for pre-load. The game’s size is 21.6GB and there is a possibility that some groups might try to crack it before release. RAGE leaked for both the X360 and PS3 almost a week before release

We know that most console games get leaked before release, but it’s entirely different when a highly anticipated game – and perhaps a candidate for GOTY – is getting leaked almost a week before release. Skyrim – Real-Life Action Short Film Is Sweet

Tom Antos released today a new live-action short film that is based on Bethesda’s Skyrim. This video showcases a dragon’s hunt and although it looks good, it lacks a bit polishing here and there. The sounds are also a bit underwhelming but overall, it’s sweet and shows that there is great potential for an actual live-action mini series. Check it out after the jump. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Sons of Skyrim (Metal Remix)

Scott Houghton has just informed us about his metal remix of Skyrim’s theme and let us tell you that it’s epic. In case you don’t like metal, then go ahead and listen to it. Official RAGE System Requirements Revealed

With only one month left until RAGE hits digital and retail stores, Bethesda decided to finally reveal its system requirements. These system requirements are pretty much what you would expect from such a game and from the looks of it, it will take advantage of quadcores. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will use Steamworks

Bethesda has just confirmed via their Elder Scrolls Twitter account that the highly anticipated fifth part of their successful fantasy RPG series, The Elder Scrolls, will use Steamworks as its DRM. So good news to most people as the game won’t use at least Microsoft’s GFWL service as the game is released under the Games for Windows label. Morrowind Overhaul Patch 1.3 Is Out Now

We know that you can’t wait to get your hands on Skyrim. Hell, neither can we but since it won’t be out anytime soon, here is something else to keep you busy. As the title suggests – and in case you were unaware of, Morrowind Overhaul is a mod that enhances the graphics and audio of Morrowind. There have been two patches so far and KingPix, the driving force behind this overhaul, released today a new one.
