AMD has released a new beta driver for its graphics cards. According to the changelog, the sixth beta version of AMD’s Catalyst 13.2 resolves minor anti-aliasing corruption seen in Crysis 3 and improves Hitman Absolution Crossfire scaling. Moreover, AMD users have been reporting gains on various games and on Unigine’s latest benchmark tool, the Valley, so be sure to upgrade if you want to benefit from these gains. AMD Catalyst 13.2 Beta 5 Released; Further Improves Crysis 3 and Far Cry 3 Performance

Man, AMD is on fire lately. A couple of days ago, the company has released yet another beta driver for its graphics cards. This is the fifth beta of the 13.2, and it’s perhaps the first time we’ve seen so many updates in so little time. Ironically, Nvidia (who was known for doing something similar in the past) has not been rolling out as many beta drivers these past months as AMD. AMD has released a new beta driver for its graphics card – which seems more like a hotfix mind you – that improves performance in Crysis 3. According to its changelog, this new beta driver improves performance in the Crysis 3 Multi-Player Beta by up to 50% when 4x and 8x MSAA are enabled. And that is that. AMD Catalyst 13.2 Beta 3 – Performance Improvements For Crysis 3 & DmC Devil May Cry Spotted

AMD has released a new set of drivers for its graphics cards. AMD Catalyst 13.2 Beta 3 come with some performance improvements  for Crysis 3, DmC Devil May Cry and Crysis 2. In addition, the Catalyst 13.2 Beta 3  improves – significantly – latency performance in Skyrim, Boderlands 2, and Guild Wars 2. AMD has promised to releases further drivers in the future that will improve Crysis 3’s performance but until then, go ahead and download these new drivers. AMD Catalyst 13.1 is the first driver of 2013 and comes with noticeable performance improvements on the entire AMD Radeon HD 7000 Series, with up to 10%-15% more performance in Battlefield 3 in most cases and and enhanced AMD CrossFire scaling performance in Call of Duty Black Ops 2. AMD fans, here is something for you today. AMD has released a new set of drivers for its graphics cards and according to their release notes, these drivers are recommended for those currently playing Ubisoft’s FPS, Far Cry 3. In addition, AMD has released Catalyst 12.11 CAP2 that should be used in conjunction with AMD Catalyst 12.11 Beta11, and offer additional performance improvements to Far Cry 3. Latest Nvidia & AMD high-end GPUs can handle pretty well 4K resolution games

Toshiba has demonstrated the first games, running at a 4K ( 3840×2160 ) resolution on its 4K Quad-FHD screen. As you may have expected, the company used a powerful PC with a high-end GPU. The good news for all PC gamers is that both AMD’s 7970 and Nvidia’s GTX680 are capable of running games on such resolutions at 30fps. Naturally, a lot of people will wonder why do you need this pricey TV when you can already downsample your games. Well, Toshiba has to promote its screens (one way or another) and since a lot of gamers are not aware of downsampling, they’re taking advantage of it. And although there are rumors about PS4 supporting 4K resolutions, don’t expect its games to run natively at those. Enjoy the demonstration below!
