Biart Studios have released their first indie third-person shooter title, Deep Black: Reloaded. The game was initially known as U-Wars and was meant to take advantage of Nvidia’s PhysX and 3D Vision. Back when it was called U-Wars, the developers had trouble finding a publisher. Fast forward a couple of years and here we are with Biart’s renamed game that is published by them in a digital form. Given its indie nature, we were wondering whether or not it was worth writing a Performance Analysis about it. However, we got intrigued when we found out that it was a 3D-Ready title, so we felt the need to give it a shot. As always, we used an overclocked Q9650 with a GTX295, 4GB RAM, Windows 7-64Bit and the latest version of Nvidia’s ForceWare drivers. Continue reading Deep Black: Reloaded PC Performance Analysis→
We’re pretty sure that most CS: GO fans will be disappointed to hear that the game has been delayed yet again. Yeah, that sucks but hopefully Valve will be able to further polish your beloved game, so no reason to start cursing them. In addition, the company released a new update for the game’s beta version that replaces Source’s shadow engine and adds support for both FXAA and Intel’s integrated graphics chipsets. Furthermore, the update enables the Arsenal Mode: Demolition, fixes, miscellaneous map bugs and removes the capping mouse acceleration values. The update will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client and you can view its changelog below. In a recent interview with VentureBeat, Jake Solomon, lead designer for Firaxis Games’ XCOM: Enemy Unknown, said that their upcoming remake of the legendary XCOM game will be a really challenging game. Jake wanted to differentiate this term and said that it would not be impossibly difficult or tedious to play, just challenging in so many other ways. Moreover, Jake said that they have a game that openly embraces the idea of challenge as a selling point and that’s exactly what will differentiate their game from all other previous frustrating parts of the series, like X-Com: Terror from the Deep. A lot of PC gamers have been reporting some framerate issues with Biart Studios’ latest underwater third person shooter, Deep Black: Reloaded. To be honest, we didn’t notice any issues at all but that was because Deep Black could not connect to the Internet. When we enabled its launcher to connect, it downloaded a small update for it. Although we don’t have any release notes for that day-1 patch, we know that it introduces the framerate issue that all other PC gamers have been reporting these past days.
