Silent Hill Townfall feature-3

Here Are Almost 3 Hours of Gameplay From Silent Hill Townfall

YouTube’s ‘CohhCarnage’ got early access to Silent Hill: Townfall and shared three videos, showing almost three hours of gameplay. These videos cover the early parts of the game. As such, they may contain some early spoilers. At the same time, they can give you a pretty good idea of what this new Silent Hill game is all about.

Silent Hill: Townfall is a full-length, self-contained psychological horror set against the cold, isolated backdrop of Scotland, 1996.

In this new Silent Hill game, you will assume the role of Simon Ordell. Simon will descend into a world of tense evasion, explosive confrontations, and mind-bending puzzles that slowly surface the truth of St. Amelia.

Silent Hill: Townfall will be played via first-person mode. This is a drastic change, as pretty much all previous Silent Hill games used a third-person (or elevated) camera. I know PT and Silent Hill: Short Message used a first-person mode, but those never came out on PC. The only Silent Hill game that used first-person was Silent Hill 4: The Room, and that was only inside Henry’s apartment.

Anyway, in Silent Hill: Townfall, you play as Simon, who must explore, evade enemies, and survive with a limited set of weapons and tools. One of these tools is the CRTV. It is a pocket-sized TV that lets Simon tune into unstable signals.

According to the devs, evasion will be tense, while combat will be fast and intense. The game will also feature story-driven puzzles. These puzzles will help reveal a dark truth that refuses to stay hidden.

Konami will release Silent Hill: Townfall on September 24. You can also find its official PC system requirements here.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
