Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning – Official PC System Requirements

38 Studios revealed this weekend the official PC system requirements for their upcoming action RPG, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. According to the developers, PC gamers will need – at least – an NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512MB or an ATI Radeon HD3650 512MB GPU. As you may have expected from a multi-platform title, it will only support DX9.0c and an internet connection will be required for the product activation/registration. Capcom hints at a Street Figter x Tekken surprise this Friday

Great news for Street Figter x Tekken fans, as Yoshinori Ono tweeted that Capcom will be live-streaming SFxT on January 13th. Great news, right? Well, here is something even more interesting. DICE’s Daniel Matros reveals: a lot of cheaters have been dealt with; details for upcoming patch coming soon

It’s a known fact that cheaters have been abusing Battlefield 3, and let us tell you that they are a lot of them. It’s good if you haven’t encountered anyone, but from our experience, each and every server has one of them these last days. Thankfully, DICE is already punishing them and Daniel Matros, DICE’s Community Manager, revealed that DICE will eventually give out accurate numbers about this whole thing. PC gamers, meet Nyrthos; an upcoming indie 2D action RPG

BeerDeer Games officially announced its first game, Nyrthos, that will be an action RPG for web browsers, Anroid and iOS. Nyrthos is built on an in-house engine, in 2D, seen from an isometric view and it’s closed beta is scheduled to Q1 of 2012. Oh, and did we mention that Nyrthos looks really cool and has a Diablo II feel to it? Although we don’t know if it will be as good as Blizzard’s offer, we seriously prefer this game’s art style over Diablo III’s cartoonish look. Overgrowth Alpha 164 Changes

Wolfire Games released a new video, in which David Rosen shows off the changes that were made to the latest alpha version of Overgrowth. This week, Rosen added the ability to climb ledges while holding light weapons, while characters don’t drop weapons when switching AI/player control. In addition, jumping through plants causes ragdoll if greater than speed threshold and Joysticks are enabled only when their input changes. Enjoy the video bellow! Star Marine: Infinite Ammo looks retro-sexy and comes out in January 12th on iOS devices

You know what? Sometimes, I’m really jealous of the iOS devices. Why you ask? But because they get so many cool retro games that are pretty much must-have for every retro fan. And while watching Star Marine: Infinite Ammo’s trailer, I couldn’t help but think how similar it looked with all those amazing run’n’gun SNES platformers, like Contra, Jurassic Park 2, Power Rangers and Super Turrican. Blizzard’s Bashiok puts all Diablo III’s release date rumors to rest

You’ve most probably heard that Diablo III could hit the stores in early February, right? Well, those were just rumors and speculations and nothing more. According to Blizzard’s Community Manager, Bashiok, Diablo III does not have any release date as of yet. More importantly though is that Bashiok tweeted that all the stores that have a specific release date are guessing at best. Alan Wake PC FAQ possibly coming this week; definitely next week

We are all dying to hear more news about the PC version of Alan Wake, right? Well, we might have to wait a little bit longer, as Remedy’s Community Manager, Peter Papadopoulos, revealed that the PC FAQ for Alan Wake will most likely be released this week. As Peter revealed, a meeting will be scheduled with Ozz this week and they’ll try to knock out most of the FAQ. This basically means that the FAQ could be ready either this or next week.
