Blizzard’s Bashiok puts all Diablo III’s release date rumors to rest

You’ve most probably heard that Diablo III could hit the stores in early February, right? Well, those were just rumors and speculations and nothing more. According to Blizzard’s Community Manager, Bashiok, Diablo III does not have any release date as of yet. More importantly though is that Bashiok tweeted that all the stores that have a specific release date are guessing at best.
As Bashiok tweeted:
“Diablo III does not have a release date. Any store or person claiming otherwise is guessing.”
So there you have it guys. According to Blizzard, Diablo III is not coming in early February, though it will be released in 2012. No specific date has been issued as of yet, so hold your horses for now. On the other hand, Bashiok’s tweets could be an attempt at damage control. After all, it’s all about timing and Bliz obviously thinks that it’s not the right time to reveal the game’s release date. Yeah, it could come out in February but for now, we’ll take Blizzard’s Community Manager word!
