Alan Wake PC Details – Multi-GPUs are not recommended, 7970 able to handle 3-screen mode well

Alan Wake PC is coming in two weeks and we have some brand new information on it. First and foremost, those screenshots that were posted yesterday were from an earlier build and didn’t feature some re-worked textures. Checkmark Games has finally released their indie RPG, Dark Delve, on the PC. The game comes with a ‘pay what you want’ plan from its official website, meaning that you can get it for only $1 USD but come on, you should definitely pay something a little more. Rayman Origins PC – Retail version will be DRM-free, Digital version will use TAGES-SolidShield

A lot of PC gamers were jumping up and down when Ubisoft announced that Rayman Origins would hit the PC and its retail version would be DRM-free. But what about its digital versions? Well, the news are not as good as you’d hope to as Rayman Origins PC Digital will use TAGES-SolidShield. That is suggested by both Impulse and GamersGate and was confirmed by Ubisoft themselves, so get ready for that annoying ‘5 machine activation’ limit. Path of Exile Beta 0.9.6 coming this week, two new screenshots revealed

Grinding Gear Games has revealed that a new beta build for their upcoming free-to-play action RPG, Path of Exile, will be released this week. In addition, the company has released two new screenshots for it. The first one shows a Templar using the new skills Molten Shell and Lightning Strike to fight Brutus while the other one shows off a multiplayer fight between a pair of players and some of the new snake monsters in Act Two. New CryEngine 3 video shows off ‘Natural Lighting’ in video games

Modder ‘maikel’ has released a new CryEngine 3 video that shows off what ‘natural lighting’ would look like in a video-game. The modder has been looking at how light works in the real world and how this can be translated in a game engine and his research is designed to answer: a) How does direct light, indirect light and atmospheric effects work in the real world and b) How can this be translated into a game engine. Star Wars: The Old Republic patch 1.1.2 notes revealed

Even though the 1.1.1 patch has gone live yesterday, BioWare is already testing the new, upcoming 1.1.2 patch and has revealed the changes that were made to it. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier – SP Campaign Gameplay Trailer

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for their action tactical third person shooter game, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, which shows off the game’s Single Player campaign mode. It was about time. Other Ocean’s and NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat collection finds its way to Valve’s distribution service and comes with a 15% discount.
