OWL Game Studio has just informed us about their future plans for CryZone: Sector 23. According to the team, CryZone is not a “modification for the game Crysis” anymore. From now on, CryZone will be a complete, self-Indie-game on engine CryEngine 3. In addition, CryZone has already moved to CE3, is actively developed, and in order to showcase their work, OWL Game Studio have released some new screenshots from the CE3 version of it. Remember that secret cow level in Diablo II? Well, time to find out what Blizzard has included in Diablo III, as YouTube’s member ‘AlexInSixty’ has uploaded an interesting new video of a hidden, secret level. Diablo III’s secret level is called Whimsyshire and is full of… unicorns. Yeap, you read that right. Blizzard to decided to troll those who called Diablo III ‘childish’ and offered a bright and colorful, cartoon-ish level that is filled with unicorns. LinkedIn has revealed today a lot of new games. Alongside Battlefield: Bad Company 3, Saints Row 4 and Mirror’s Edge 2, it seems that Deus Ex 4 will be coming to next generation consoles and PC. Or that’s what is being hinted in a job listing from LinkedIn. Although Deus Ex 4 is not named as the name of the project, the job reads that the project is based upon an existing IP that is a well known and respected action/adventure title, with elements of choice and stealth within the gameplay. There is no doubt that real-time raytracing and global illumination are ‘the future’ of gaming graphics. And we are happy – and astounded – to report that Nvidia has showcased a real-time raytracing tech demo at this year’s GTC 2012. The result of that implementation is sweet as hell, so be sure to check the following video.
