The latest Top 10 PC charts have been revealed and as we can see, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Dragonborn and Aliens: Colonial Marines are the best selling titles on Steam’s digital and UK’s retail PC charts. After a long time, Football Manager 2013 has been dethroned. Gearbox’s Aliens game may not be what gamers hoped to, but it certainly sold well during its first week. Dead Space 3 has lost three places, while World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria has lost six places. The Sims 3 franchise is still doing well, as its Pets expansion has managed to gain two places. Nvidia has released a new WHQL driver for its graphics cards. The GeForce 314.07 increase performance by up to 5% in Crysis 3. Apart from that, there is nothing to write home about. Remember DICE’s excuse for not giving away the mod tools for both Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3? If not, DICE claimed that those tools were too complicated for modders and that’s why it did not release them. Of course we all know that DICE and Electronic Arts did not release them as they would have an impact on their DLC plans, but that’s a different story. But anyway, it seems that the modding community is back with a punch, as it’s working on some server and mod tools for Bad Company 2. Take that DICE. Guru3D’s member ‘pusscifer’ has stumbled upon a really interesting video from Obsidian’s cancelled Aliens RPG game. This video was uploaded Danny Garnett who has worked on Obsidian’s title and did some animations for the xenomorphs.
