Now this sucks. Back in August 2012, we informed you about a possible remake of Blood. Jason Hall, Monolith Productions’ founder, wanted to bring back Blood with a brand new remake that would be staying true to the game’s roots, and would be released for free. Aliens: Colonial Marines will be the title that will surpass Duke Nukem Forever. Yes, it wasn’t under development for as much time as 3D Realms’ FPS was, however it turned out to be just as bad as Duke’s latest adventures. And ironically, it will keep us busy for a long time. Great news for adventure fans as the Kickstarter campaign of Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey has managed to hit its initial goal of $850K. Dreamfall Chapters is the long-awaited sequel to acclaimed PC adventure games The Longest Journey and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. Red Thread Games has also released the first gameplay footage of its title that can be viewed below. YouTube’s member ‘davechaos’ has posted the fourth mission from the Single Player campaign mode of Crysis 3. According to davechaos, EA has invited him to its office in which he was able to try out Crytek’s upcoming FPS title. This footage is from the PC version of Crysis 3, though we don’t know the specs of the PC that was running it. Crysis 3 is currently planned for a February 19th release in North America and for a February 22nd release in Europe. Obviously, this footage contains some spoilers. Enjoy! DICE has detailed the four new maps that will be featured in the last DLC of Battlefield 3. These four maps are: OPERATION RIVERSIDE, NEBANDAN FLATS, KIASAR RAILROAD and SABALAN PIPELINE. These four maps support the Air Superiority and Capture The Flag modes that will be added via this DLC, as well as the older Conquest, Rush, Squad Rush, Team Deathmatch and Squad Deathmatch modes. This new footage showcases a new character that will be featured in it, Ada Wong. According to the modder, the basic coding for this character is done, meaning that it will be easier now to add the shotgun, grenades, and other weapons.
