Modder ‘Aron’ has released a new mod that overhauls Skyrim’s Dungeons and Ruins environments. In short – and according to its description – this mod adds a set of textures and – more important – a set of edited meshes enhanced with parallax depth-effect. Be warned though that there might be some conflicts with the ‘elnfx’ and ‘smim’ meshes (if you’re using custom texture packs for them). Electronic Arts has released a new, in-game, screenshot for Dragon Age: Inquisition, in which we get to see the first in-game shot of Morrigan. Dragon Age: Inquisition looks highly detailed, and at this point we are certain about one thing: it may not challenge The Witcher 3 in terms of gameplay but it will definitely look stunning. YouTube’s member ‘samothethief’ has shared an interesting mod for Sonic 4 – Episode 2. As the title suggests, this mod replaces the model and animations of Modern Sonic with a new re-adapted model of Classic Sonic from Sonic Generation. Furthermore, this mod includes Classic Super Sonic (rigged by JoeTE), Classic Tails model (rigged and adapted to Sonic 4 – Episode 2 by JoeTE) and Special Stage music replacement by Falk. During their SIGGRAPH 2013 talk, CD Projekt RED’s Balazs Torok and Krzysztof Krzyscin unveiled some new interesting information about RED Engine; the engine powering The Witcher 2 and CDPR’s upcoming RPG, The Witcher 3. According to the developers, this engine was originally meant to be used in The Witcher 3 as the game was planned ahead already, however CDPR decided to take advantage of it with The Witcher 2. BigBen and Milestone have released the first trailer for WRC 4, in which we get to see the in-game visuals of this upcoming racer. WRC 4 is the official game for the 2013 FIA World Rally Championship and features the rallies, drivers and teams from the 2013 WRC calendar. YouTube’s member ‘ADRIANF1esp’ shared a mind-blowing video for Slightly Mad Studios’ upcoming racer, Project CARS. Andrian captured a lap in pCars and then applied some filters to have a tonality, lighting, lens effect and realistic sound, along with camera movements that mimic its position on the helmet. The end result is simply fantastic, though we should note that it does not represent the game’s visuals, and we don’t know whether Slightly Mad Studios will be able to match what Andrian has created.
