As we’ve already said, CryEngine 3 has a lot of potential. As various modders have proved, this engine is capable of displaying amazing visuals and it seems that Crytek wants to cover all possible platforms for its latest version. We know that CryEngine 3 is next-gen compatible, and that it will also support Nintendo’s WiiU. However, the engine has never been available to Linux, something that is going to change in the near future. Yesterday we informed you about the latest version of Brutal Doom and the fact that it will feature a new combo system. Well, today we are presenting you its official trailer that has just been released (needless to say that it looks f’ing epic). Brutal Doom is perhaps THE best mod for Doom we’ve seen thus far, and according to the modder this new version will be released on August 9th. Ubisoft has released a new video walkthrough, showcasing the Liquid Natural Gas Plant Demo from Splinter Cell: Blacklist. Splinter Cell: Blacklist promises to please both fans of stealth and action titles, so it will be interesting to see whether the French company will be able to deliver. A couple of days ago, Nvidia stealthily released a new set of WHQL drivers for its graphics cards. According to various reports, the previous WHQL drivers caused damage on a variety of GPUs. Although nothing has been confirmed yet – and to be honest we’ve not experienced any artifacts or overheating issues with the 320.18WHQL, Nvidia recommends on its official website the 320.49 drivers.
