DayZ Standalone – New Screenshots Unveiled

Dean ‘Rocket’ Hall has released a new set of screenshots for the standalone version of DayZ. Dean is working closely with Bohemia for the development of the standalone version of DayZ, and has revealed that they are targetting for a ‘The Road’ experience. Keep also in mind that these are early screenshots and do not represent the final quality of the game. As Dean described, in these screenshots the greater range of buildings that now have interiors is displayed, from the large office buildings, to the hospitals, metalwork factories, through to small cottages. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier – PC Patch 1.5 Released

Hilarious. That’s the word I’m going to use for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier’s latest PC patch. This new patch comes with improve graphics – though the company did not reveal what has been changed or improved – and a fix for the friends list. Success – DICE Will Offer An Option To Disable The Color Grading Effect In Battlefield 3

And success everyone. DICE’s software engineer on servers and persistence, Mikael Kalms, revealed that the company will include a console command with which players will be able to disable – completely – Battlefield 3’s color grading. The good news here is that this will not get you banned from the official servers. The bad news is that there is no mention about the third-party tool/mod that already does this particular thing. Warface – New Screenshots From Crytek’s Free-To-Play Title

Trion Worlds has released a new set of screenshots from the campaign mode of Crytek’s upcoming free-to-play FPS, Warface. Warface is a vast online universe, set in the near future.  The game offers a cinematic experience with next gen visuals, AI and physics based on Crytek’s proprietary CryEngine 3 game development solution. Warface promises to provide gamers with a constantly updated extensive PVE (player versus environment) universe full of dramatic multiplayer co-op missions, a full set of class based PVP (player versus player) and will be available for PC via Crytek’s free-to-play social platform GFACE. Far Cry 3 – 13 Minutes Of Open World Walkthrough

Ubisoft has released a 13 minutes walkthrough for Far Cry 3 in which Mark Thompson, lead level designer and Jamie Keen, Lead game designer, takes us on a trip into the game’s environments. In terms of visuals, this level looks really close to those that were featured in the first Far Cry game. Which is good for all fans of this series. Independent game developer Black Forest Games announces that their twisted platformer, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams is now available for pre-order on PC through Gog.com and GamersGate. Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams is the grandchild of The Great Giana Sisters, a Super Mario Bros clone that sparked much controversy when it first arrived on shelves in 1987.
