A couple of hours ago, gamers were jumping up and down when some rumored screenshots of Battlefield 4 hit the Net. Everyone was amazed by the visuals, however these are nothing more than shots from a cinematic trailer for BF3 that was created a year ago. Yeap, these are not images from Battlefield 4. As we can clearly see, Creative Studios had created a cinematic trailer for W+K and Electronic Arts. Sadly, BF4 won’t look this good. Electronic Arts has released the final piece of SP DLC for Mass Effect 3, the Citadel DLC. In order to celebrate it – and excite gamers about it – the company has also released the soundtrack of this DLC for free. According to the company, Sam Hulick, Cris Velasco, and Sascha Dikiciyan came together to compose an emotional and powerful score for this personal journey. Star Wars: First Assault Rumored To Be Battlefront III’s Predecessor

Star Wars: Battlefront III is nowhere to be found, however another Star Wars may hit platforms at a later date. According to Kotaku, Star Wars: First Assault is said to be Battlefront III’s predecessor, in which one eight-person team of rebels fights against an eight-person team of Stormtroopers. We’re talking about a 21-hour global livestream of launch events, community features and the final of the Day[9] hosted King of the Beta tournament. Weekly Top 10 PC Charts; UK PC Retail and Steam Digital Charts [March 3rd – 9th]

The latest Top 10 PC charts have been revealed and as we can see, ArmA 3 and SimCity are the best selling titles on Steam’s digital and UK’s retail PC charts. Despite its server issues, SimCity has managed to claim this week’s top place, followed by The Sims 3: University Life and Tomb Raider. What really surprised us here was the fact that Football Manager 2013 is no longer among the best three selling titles, as it can be spotted in the fourth place. Crysis 3 is also going down and is now in the eighth place, while Guild Wars 2 has lost three places. Skyrim, on the other hand, has managed to re-enter the charts. Tomb Raider – First PC Update Finally Released

Good news for all Tomb Raider PC fans as Nixxes has released the first patch for it. This is the same patch that was introduced later this week, but was almost immediately taken down due to some stability issues. According to its changelog, this patch addresses some stability and startup issues on machines that have both Intel and NVIDIA graphics hardware, and comes with small improvements to TressFX hair rendering. We should note that SSAA with TressFX enabled brings a significant hit (after this patch) and Nixxes is investigating on it. You can find the complete changelog below and as with most Steam games, Tomb Raider will be auto-patched next time you launch the Steam client! Even though City Interactive has not revealed the latest sales numbers of Sniper: Ghost Warrior, GameStop revealed that City Interactive’s first sniper title has managed to sell over 3 million copies worldwide. Naturally, this cannot come close to the sales of other triple-A, however we have to keep in mind that City Interactive was never a company as ‘powerful’ as EA or Ubisoft. Darkwood – Pre-Alpha Gameplay Trailer

Acid Wizard Studio (a team of 3 people from Poland) has released a pre-alpha gameplay trailer for its upcoming title, Darkwood. According to the team, Darkwood is a top-down, oldschool survival horror set in a procedurally generated, open world, and features RPG and roguelike elements, with intense combat and a eerie atmosphere. Darkwood features a hardcore gameplay as it does not provide hand holding, tooltips or linear paths. Players will have to think, learn and adapt in order to survive. The game also comes with permadeath, meaning that if you die, your saved games will get deleted and you will have to start over. It looks pretty cool, so make sure to watch the trailer below. Outerra Engine Shows Off Gorgeous Outdoor Environment

YouTube’s member ‘luishi5000’ has created a gorgeous outdoor environment with the Outerra Engine. luishi5000 made these structures to show off the potential scale of models in Outerra, and these models have baked in ambient occlusion. The total polygon count on the models (combined) is about ~400,000 (triangles) and this scene runs with 60fps at 1080p with a GTX660Ti. Enjoy!
