Szymon Janus, CEO of INTERMARUM, has informed us about their new turn-based space sector strategy game called Race To Mars. INTERMARUM will launch a Kickstarter campaign for it in a couple of days, and has released some early screenshots that can be viewed below (the game really needs high-resolution textures, so here is hoping that INTERMARUM will be able to polish the game as it’s still in an early stage). Great news for strategy fans as Triumph Studios has released the first gameplay footage of Age of Wonders III, its upcoming turn-based strategy/RPG hybrid, which introduces the Theocrat class. In this video capture of the demo a High Elf named Avulas starts a holy war to cleanse the lands of evil. Age of Wonders III will feature all new 3D graphics that provide a crisper and more detailed overview of the world and battle maps, and is currently planned for a Spring 2013 release on the PC. Battlefield 4’s reveal trailer has been unleashed, and most gamers are amazed with its visuals. Truth be told, DICE’s upcoming FPS looks spectacular and is easily one of the best looking games we’ve ever seen. It’s not up to the standards of Deep Down, but then again we don’t know whether Capcom’s title will look as impressive as that tech demo or not. And even though a lot paid attention to some finer graphical details, it seems that none noticed a small pop-up window, hinting at a possible always-online DRM for the Single Player campaign of BF4. Battlefield 4 Officially Unveiled – 17 Minutes Gameplay Footage, Powered By Frostbite 3, Coming This Fall

Electronic Arts and DICE have officially unveiled Battlefield 4. Battlefield 4 will be powered by Frostbite 3, and promises to provide a visceral, dramatic experience unlike any other shooter. The game is planned for a Fall 2013 release on PC, X360 and PS3 (no mention about a possible next-generation release). Battlefield 4 will feature an intense, dramatic character-driven campaign that starts with the evacuation of American VIPs from Shanghai and follows your squad’s struggle to find its way home. New Tomb Raider Update Comes With DX11 Improvements & Various Fixes

Nixxes Software has released a new update for the PC version of Tomb Raider that comes with some DX11 improvements, as well as various fixes. According to its release notes, this update features improved sunlight shadow quality, various performance optimizations, adds stereoscopic 3D reticle and increases the save slots from three to 99. This patch will be applied automatically next time you launch the game, and you can view its complete changelog below. Unfortunately, Mountain Village and Shanty Town are still plagued with optimization issues). Nixxes has promised to further polish the game, and will release more patches in the future. City Interactive has released a new update for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 that features a host of improvements and the addition of Hardcore mode for multiplayer. In the new mode players will not be provided with any indication of who is shooting at them or from which direction the shot has been fired as the red dot indicator is eliminated. Hardcore mode provides and ultra difficult experience that will put even the most elite snipers to the test. We’re a couple hours away from the official reveal of BF4 and until we get our hands on its teaser trailer, we can all take a look at the first leaked screenshots that hit the Internet a couple of minutes ago. Battlefield 4 is said to be powered by the next iteration of the Frostbite engine, and these shots show off visuals that surpass even those of Crysis 3.
